The GLTN’s Arab Land Initiative has launched the new country section of its website.
Starting with Lebanon country page, new country sections will be periodically uploaded and shared with our network.
The section will provide an overview of the status of land governance in each country of the Arab region, focusing on the existing legal and institutional frameworks and the land administration functions such as: land tenure, land value, land use, land development and land dispute resolution.
Special focuses on cross-cutting issues such as gender, conflict, climate and more will also be included.
The country pages will also be an opportunity for linking and hosting all the different land-related streams of work carried out by UN-Habitat, the Global Land Tool Network, the Arab Land Initiative, and their partners in each country.
If you want to contribute to body of knowledge on land-related issues in the Arab Region, write to unhabitat-arablandinitiative@un.org and share with the Arab Land Initiative your documents, publications and other information that can be show-cased on our website for review.
Stay tuned and don’t miss out on the chance of discovering our new section and be part of our community of land experts.
