Call for papers – FIG Working Week 2019

Theme: Geospatial information for a smarter life and environmental resilience


The next FIG Working Week  will be held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 22-26 April 2019. The conference is organised by the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and the Vietnam Association of Geodesy, Cartography and Remote Sensing (VGCR), as local host.

FIG is the premier international organization representing the interests of surveyors worldwide. It is a federation of the national member associations and covers the whole range of professional fields within the global surveying community. FIG provides an international forum for discussion and development aiming to promote professional practice and standards.

Focus will be on tackling the climate changes by working towards a smarter life both through the development of smart cities and also in rural areas. Spatial information, big data, surveying, BIM, land administration and much more are essential factors in this development.
