We are pleased to announce the latest major release of the Social Tenure Domain Model (STDM) software Version 1.5
The STDM Ver.1.5 full release includes enhanced functionality and extensive stability improvements. It incorporates feedback from STDM learning events in addition to a variety of improvements and bug fixes identified though the implementation of version 1.4 by GLTN Partners.
These changes provide more flexibility in defining tenure relationships thereby broadening its application in different social tenure contexts. The full list of updates can be found in this changelog.
About STDM
The STDM is socio-technical innovation developed to bridge the gap between formally registered land and land that is not registered by supporting all forms of land rights and claims, (formal, intermediate and non-formal). It is a pro-poor, gender responsive, participatory and affordable land information system for capturing person/s to land relationships cognizant of the land rights continuum, thus providing options for the inclusion of vulnerable and marginalized populations in the land tenure and property rights debate.
We express our gratitude to our Partners who continue to provide invaluable feedback by rigorously testing and validating the tool during development and implementation processes.
