RMIT University, based in Melbourne, Australia, is a global university of technology and design and has a strong commitment to urban and land issues, with particular focus on sustainable cities.

RMIT has ongoing research and instruction in the School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences that connect directly to UN-Habitat and GLTN. RMIT trains surveyors and other geospatial professions who ensure accurate and safe title transactions in Australia and many neighbouring countries.

As a Partner of GLTN, RMIT University will work with GLTN in scale-able land tool development and focus on land administration and management in the Asia Pacific Region.

The collaboration between GLTN and RMIT University is expected to provide an avenue for a successful completion of the current Land Tenure Scoping Study and later steps in the development of land tools for the Asia Pacific Region.
