Join us at The Hague for the 5TH GLTN Partners Meeting

partners_meetingSeven-year-old GLTN traces its beginnings at the World Urban Forum in Vancouver when UN-Habitat facilitated its establishment as a global partnership of key global actors. Today, the Global Land Tool Network has earned its place as a leading voice in the quest to secure land and property rights for all.

GLTN is an alliance of 58 global, regional and national partners consisting of professionals, development partners, research and training institutions, technical and civil society groups contributing to poverty alleviation through land reform, improved management and security of tenure particularly through the development. As such, it continues to develop and disseminate pro-poor and gender-sensitive land tools to address land tenure and reform issues.
Clustered into seven main categories, our growing list of partners is represented at the International Advisory Board (IAB).

Our partners are our hands and feet in executing our mandate. GLTN partners converge to deliberate on issues pertinent to the Networks’ work plan.

This year, the fifth GLTN Partners meeting will be held at The Hague, Netherlands, 11-15 November under the theme: Working at Country level: Implementing Land Tools through partnership.

Its main objectives will be:

  1. Strengthening partnerships and networking at global, regional and national levels.
  2. Promoting and rolling out tool development and implementation, capacity development and good learning practices at country level and in programmes.
  3. Expanding its country level operations in a coordinated and strategic fashion.
